Our Talent Scholarships

The Detroit Dance Foundation is committed to providing aspiring dancers with access to high-quality training and opportunities, regardless of their financial circumstances. Our scholarship program helps break down economic barriers by providing tuition support to talented dancers for the 2026-2027 season at Detroit Dance Center or by helping defray the costs of registration fees for a local workshop or dance convention.  We believe that every young person deserves the chance to explore their passion for dance and unleash their artistic potential.

 

Eligibility: Open to all dancers in the Metro Detroit area — current enrollment at Detroit Dance Center® is not required.

- Dancers must be at least 8 years old by September 1, 2026

- Dancers must have completed at least one full year of prior dance training

The winner(s) will be announced at the Detroit Dance Center® 2026 Spring Concert
